Moving from a good neighborhood to a high risk neighborhood. Got a new quote online and the difference will be 200+ more. So I say screw it, I don’t need my payments going up on me. I didn’t report the move, will the auto insurance find out sooner or later?

As long as you keep all business on line, they may not. However, if you have an accident and they find the deceit, your insurance is worthless. They will not have to pay you a dime. Bite the bullet and change the address. Depending on your state, what you are doing may also be illegal.

Where will they be mailing you renewal notices? Yes they will probably find out sooner or later and if so charge you for back premium.

Of course they will, one way or another. Such as sending bills to your new house.
What you are doing is akin to fraud. You are trying to defraud the insurance company out of different rates by withholding information. Hopefully the least that will happen is you will get canceled.

They not only will find out but if until you tell them that you moved, you will have no insurance if you have a claim. THEY WON’T PAY ! You will be paying premiums but you won’t have any coverage.

They may not find out immediately, but eventually they will figure it out, usually when you make a claim. You are defrauding the insurance company. If you get in a serious accident they may declare your coverage void and you would be left paying for thousands of dollars in damages/injuries out of your pocket.

Yep. All they have to do is check the USPS Change Address database. Progressive does this.
If they don’t check the USPS, they can check the state license database as you are required to report to the state when you move. In my state, the licensing department automatically updates your address if they discovered you moved by looking at the USPS database.
Even if they don’t do either of those two, the renewal notices have to be mailed somewhere.
Just bite the bullet, report the address change and pay the $200
